Dear SEEDS Parents,

We had a fun time in our PJs and Stuffed Animals on Sunday! We talked about the parable of the lost sheep and played hide and seek with our animals. I told them the story about my neighbor who I shared the gospel with last year and she told me it she heard it for the first time in 4th grade! I encouraged them that they never know how God could use them to plant that seed in someone. When I asked how we can show God's love, one of the Mini-Wheats child raised her hand and answered "play with them." Even our 3 year olds understand how we can show God's love! Your children are all so amazing and attentive and it's been a joy to be with them.

SUNDAY'S LESSON
We will be talking about how we give because we love and treasure God. Tying into the theme of the One Campaign, we will be encouraging students to bring in a special offering over the next 4 weeks (from April 28 to May 19) for the building fund. They will be given 4 offering envelopes, one for each week. They can do special chores to earn the money, or if they have money in their piggy bank, they can decide how much to give each week. We are hoping that beyond the four weeks, this will develop into a habit of giving to God as a way to show their love and worship to Him.

Theme: The One I Treasure Most
Bible Story: Widow who Gave 2 Coins
Passage: Mark 12:41-44
Memory Verse:
Mini Wheats: And it impossible to please God without faith.  Hebrews 11:6a (NLT)

Wheaties: And it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that God exists and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him. Hebrews 11:6a (NLT)

Children can select a prize and receive an extra button for their vest if they memorize it!
