Career Transitions Ministry

We would like to invite you to a new ministry group the Financial Stewardship Ministry team is currently organizing.  We recognize, as well as everyone else in the world, that the economy is experiencing a huge downturn, with no clear end in sight.  Consequently, many ppl have lost jobs, and for those who still have one, are very worried about their jobs.  As a response to the current economic situation, we recognize that many congregational members could benefit from the forming of a "Career Transitions Ministry" (CTM).

This ministry would serve anyone in a career transition, which includes and not limited to a "new college grad" to currently working people in transition.  The people the ministry would serve includes non-Harvest Church attendees as well.

Some of the possible activities of this ministry includes:

  •  organizing resources helpful for job search
  •  assessment tools for skills and personality type
  •  resume and cover letter writing and independent review
  •  praying for one another
  •  networking with other professionals
  •  new college grads wanting to learn about "real world" work experiences

If this interests you and want to get involved and you feel led to serve Harvest in this capacity, please contact me (Sang Yoon or Pari Pinyo).

We could definitely use your participation in forming this group to serve the needs of Harvest and our community.

Colossians 3:23-24. "Whatever you do, do your work heartily, as for the Lord rather than for men; knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance. It is the Lord Christ whom you serve."
