Tuba City, Arizona

Peter and Joann are working as medical tentmakers on the Navajo Reservation. Tuba City is the largest "city" on the reservation with a population of about 10,000 people. Peter works at the IHS (Indian Health Service) hospital as a physician. They attend and serve at the First Southern Baptist Church of Tuba City. Each summer for the past 7 years, our church has sent a team down to Tuba City to do a VBS for children and also reach out to the teens and adults in the local community. In the fall of 2011, our church commissioned Bob and Angela Kim to go to Arizona to join Peter & Joann in the mission to reach Native Americans for Christ. Bob will be serving in part-time vocational ministry focused on connecting and reaching out to the teens of Tuba City. If you would like to get updates from Bob & Angela, please email them here.
