Global Outreach Ministries
At Harvest Community Church we believe that anyone who is a follower of Christ is called to take part in the “Great Commission”, that is to make disciples of all nations. Some of us may be those who “go” and some of us may be those who “send”, but we all have an active role to play. Our God has always been a God with a heart for all peoples. He promised to bless Abraham in order that all peoples on earth would be blessed.
As a descendant of Abraham, there is no greater blessing that this world has received than the gift that Jesus gave. It is our desire and our passion to share the Good News of Jesus with people from every nation, tribe, people and language around the world. Below are some of the people who we are partnering with in cross-cultural ministry.
Tuba City, AZ
Peter and Joann are working as medical tentmakers on the Navajo Reservation, which is located across Arizona, Utah and New Mexico. Tuba City is the largest "city" on the reservation with a population of about 10,000 people. Peter works at the IHS (Indian Health Service) hospital as a physician, and Joann also works there part time in promoting community health issues. We attend and serve at the First Southern Baptist Church of Tuba City.

Kapsowar, Kenya
When Christ came to earth as a man, he not only preached the good news of God's kingdom, but he also demonstrated it by healing those who were sick. In Isaiah 53 we are told that Jesus took our infirmities upon himself and carried our sorrows. It's not surprising, then, that from its earliest days modern missionaries have brought with them not only the Gospel, but also healing in Jesus' name. It is in this sacred tradition that Steve and Betty Lee have gone to Kenya to serve in the field of medical missions.

Middle East
Harvest Community Church has friends working in cross-cultural ministry in an Middle Eastern Country. This is a place where 1/3 of the population is very religious (Islamic), 1/3 is westernized, and 1/3 is religious (Islamic) but nominal in their faith. While this is a challenging field of work we have been inspired by their stories and the way that God is working in the midst of young peoples lives in this country. Please continue to lift of our friends and their work in prayer.
Southeast Asia
We have friends working in a primarily Islamic Country in this region of the world. Some Muslim extremist groups have provoked violent attacks on Christians. One group openly claims that its goal is to eradicate Christianity in this country. Pray for our friends and their work as they share their faith in a relevant way and that God will work to open up the hearts of the people in this country to receive his love.
If you are interested in actively SENDING these individuals in their work or you believe that you may feel the calling on your life to GO into cross-cultural ministry, please e-mail us at missionsinfo@harvest-community.org.
