Outreach Opportunities

Exodus World Service mobilizes the Christian community to welcome refugees. They do this by educating churches about refugee ministry, connecting volunteers with newly arriving refugees through practical service projects, and equipping leaders to advocate on behalf of refugees. Feed My Starving Children is committed to feeding God’s children hungry in body and spirit. Children and adults pack meals specifically formulated for malnourished children, and ship these meals to our distribution partners. FMSC meals have reached nearly 70 countries around the world. GRIP is a ministry that exists to break the fatherless cycle among teenagers in Chicago’s inner city through Christ-centered, Life-on-Life relationships. GRIP connects these at-risk youth with adult Christian mentors through programs and initiatives to develop them spiritually, mentally and physically in their homes, schools and communities. Kids Hope USA offers programs that create one-on-one mentoring relationships between adult church members and at-risk elementary school children in their community. In this One Child, One Hour, One Church, One School model, each church partners with one school, and mentors from the church spend one hour each week with their “one-and-only student” at the school. New Name is a faith-based outreach to women in the adult industry. New Name longs for each woman to know her infinite worth and value in Jesus, and desires to show the love and hope of Jesus in tangible ways, such as resources, prayer, and listening. Refuge for Women is a national restorative after care program that offers a new beginning to women who have been sexually exploited and trafficked. Their faith-based, 3-phase, residential program has successfully brought healing and restoration to women since 2010. TLC is a ministry that provides free medical and material support to local women facing unplanned pregnancy situations. Our ministry is to encourage through education and outreach, and minister to women and men in the name of Jesus Christ. The Care Center team is provides immediate relief in times of crisis, and guides people toward long-term solutions. From groceries and shelter to education, employment services, and legal consultation, the Care Center takes a holistic approach to serving people in need, in an environment of love, compassion, and hope, where authentic relationships can flourish, and Jesus can be known.
